The Law of Attraction and Web Design?

We have been hear­ing a lot about the Law of Attrac­tion lately with Oprah hav­ing a panel on her show dis­cussing “The Secret”. In fact the Law of Attrac­tion has been around for a very long time. It cer­tainly is becom­ing a more pop­u­lar pursuit.

The Law of Attrac­tion and Web Site Design in the same sen­tence should not sound strange to you.

When you think of the Law of Attrac­tion, “you get what you think about, your thoughts deter­mine your des­tiny” then of course this would enter into your web site design goals.

When you start to think of what type of web site you want designed, color, lay­out, graph­ics, etc. you of nat­u­rally want to “attract” your clients/customers to you.

Ok, so that is a bit provoca­tive, but in fact it is a great exam­ple of this article.

You want poten­tial customers/clients to get to know you. Why? Because get­ting to know you means trust­ing you. By doing spe­cific things so peo­ple ‘Get To Know You’, trust you, can increase traf­fic AND improve sales.

What can you do so peo­ple will know you — learn to trust you?

Cre­ate:

- an audio
- a video
- a tele­class
- a blog

These are effec­tive medi­ums but only a start.

You need to follow-up with your con­tacts and invite then to sign-up for a report, newslet­ter, arti­cles, e-class, etc.

But don’t think that it ends there — Follow-up!
